How to build sentences using the present simple tense without the verb "to be", in English?

  1. In English, the main verb in the sentence is
    - for regular verbs -ed is added to the verb
    - for irregular verbs see a irregular verb chart V2.
  2. In English, when using the past simple verb tense, no auxiliary verb is used.
  3. In English, in order to form negative sentences 
    -     “did not ” is added to make the sentence negative (see the chart)
    - the verb stays in it's root form, in negative sentences and questions
  4. In English, in order to form questions the order of the sentence is changed. (see the chart)
  5. In English, when using the present simple verb tense the for questions the verb stays in it's root form

Positive Sentence Using The Past Simple Tense

Examples:

  1. I did not play football on the my high school's football team.
  2. You did not study for your English test, last night.
  3. The teacher did not give use any homework.
